Miranda Park
Gary and Helen O'Meara established Miranda Park in 2003 on a 200 acre property previously known as Waterdale, which had never been used for grazing horses before.
A program of pasture improvement, fencing and infrastructure development has seen Miranda Park develop into a highly functional, safe and productive broodmare farm.
Miranda Park maintains low stocking rates and cross-grazes with cattle, ensuring our pasture remains in excellent condition throughout the year.
Gary's experience in the horse industry is broad, and includes time spent as a horse breaker, amateur jockey, owner-trainer and long-term member of the Kyneton and Hanging Rock Race Club committee. Gary previously bred thoroughbreds at his family's property, Elstree Park.
Helen has many years of experience in foaling down mares and general horse husbandry; she has excellent skills in administration and client liaison.
